well well.
i was suppose to wake up at 12.30am again last night, but to no avail.
couldn't wake up, though i set alarms. and i slept at my brother's room. LOL.
thanks to lovely's call, i woke up. and she sounded damn hyper. and i'm super happy for her FOR some reason. LOL!

well, these days i've come to realise that things are going so fast, sometimes you cannot really grab things which you want to hold on.
friends, love, and even family.
it's perhaps all fated, to live a life like this.
sometimes you wonder, if this life of yours, you don't do anything about it, you'll never get what you want. It's never that easy to live life to the fullest.
go for what you believe, taking risks may bring you further. I believe that's what it is for me now.
i think perhaps some part of me hopes for this , but then again, it's wrong to do so. I don't know why but it's just that sometimes i yearn for it. the emptiness perhaps is so overwhelming, that you don't even know it existed. You feel fine, but deep down i'm just a fragile kid. being all emotional n stuff isn't bringing me anywhere but it tells me somethings in life.
and things which i kept deep down inside me.
love is a wonderful thing.
but friends are more important .
hanging outs,
or even doing funny stuff.
it is something which all must bear at certain part of their lives.

WOW. another exciting day.
so 21st is someone's birthday. and i just kept thinking of what to get for the someone. but just cannot think. so decided to share with lovely. =D
so yeah, eme said she wanna meet up at my place to pass me my birthday pressie! and it's damn sweet. it's a calender like thing , with all the SUPER NICE AND EXCITING pics on each page of the calender thing.
brought back many many many memories. I just miss my ex classmates. we were once so close in secondary 4, highs and lows, we've been through it all. well well, beautiful memories.
so we watched our HS 4E2 videos, and it was hilarious. gave eme some BA KU TEH, which my mum made this late morning before going out. and she wants to date me out on 29th to get my CNY clothes! X) i dont need to think of the expenses HEHEHE!
ok, so she said " everytime when i talk to you, i'm like talking to the wall". BUT what can i do? i just cannot multi task, i'm so engrossed in my school work. like duh, i cannot really reply la. and plus, her speech just went on n went about so many things happened to her, or she'll just nag at me about my doings.
i know, i seemed to be a super bad daughter, but i really really feel that sometimes she should put herself in my shoes. i love her, DUH OF COURSE lol! but then i think sometimes she seemed to be in PMS mood, and will start to say all the bad things of me. who's the perfect daughter? nobody right? so yeah. LOL!
so yeahhh. i was hesitating if i should go out with the gang on a saturday afternoon to shop for stuff. so we're suppose to meet at 4 at hougang mrt.
and eme came over, we chilled and hang out till 330. just then i heard a super loud KNOCK on the door.
thought i was LOVELY, cos eme said she maybe coming over. but in the end she said no she's not, but was thinking maybe she wanna give me a surprise? LOL!.
i opened the door, i see pizzaman with food on the foodsteps, and bun and jiamin n ham standing outside. and so i went like HUH?!?! LOL.
SUHAIMI was the deliveryman.hahahahaha! he went like " JOJO!" LOL.
so they paid up, and i think they didnt had enough, so when i went over to my piggybank to take out 50bucks to help them, they just managed to gather enough.
i received this SUPER BIG AND CUTE YELLOW MILK SHAPE LIKE card from the girls, with a super big monkey face in front of it. and it comes together with a GUEI GUEI to. a male one somemore. lOL!
then maimai arrived 3 minutes later. and eme left after catching up with the gang. so they ordered hawaiian pizza, drumsticks and barbecue topping pizza. and we all shared, and as usual, we gossiped. AY n co. shared about things in their JC life. it's really interesting though.haha!
then we used the com to look at hilarious stuff, friendster to see some stuff to discuss. LOL! and watched youtube HS 4E2 videos. memories man. ; )
after which, we camwhorred. and shared a little about ghost stories. why? cos the shot on EMO, they said i looked like i'm possessed. well, you can't blame me la. it's my hair. LOL!
then mai and AY left, jiamin left a while later. and bun n ham accompanied me till 630pm..
i was all dressed up, thinking i'll go out. but it seemed like i'm not tonight. but i'm DRESSED UP people. LOL! disappointed but YET HAPPY. haha!

WELL WELL. i've turned 18 on the 15th of jan. and i tell you, i've never felt so happy in my life before. i mean, 18 years old, new friends, new school, new perception and a whole new life.
so let me tell you why it's a blast? ; )
so on the 14th, eve of my birthday. i went to school with lovely. and it's the usual same thing, we met up and went to TP! while having to listen to the lecture on OB halfway through, i saw this BLACK SLIP OF card with my and lovely's pic on it. and it's pasted on my OB notes??! LOL.
HOW SWEET OF HER, to actually count down to my birthday for me. and as usual, she's that sarcastic! =) "tmr's who's special day? i don't know, and i tell you nobody knows!"
how sweet huh. yeah, that's my lovely!haha.
the night before she asked how do i do up the collation of the pics for her the other time. she doesn't know how to. so that's the BIG MOTIVE about it.haha!
but she still made it, GANBATTE! ; )
THEN, after which i met up with my classmates.and when i wanna walk over to MX n weirong who are sitting at the benches, jes n co. asked me to follow them to design school to have lunch. so yeah, i went. and then after eating, we had a great laugh and i knew something was wrong. I AM SMART k . ;)
there's something fishy about all of them. i know it. so i didn't bother, cos i wanna be surprised! hahaha.
& INDEED, i was TAKEN ABACK. when we returned our cutleries, zat just blindfold me ,together with brie. and brought me to walk around the sch. i thought we're really walking all over, but actually it's at the very same place, made me SPIN AROUND THE PAVEMENT, cross over imaginary DRAINS and make me walk into BUSHES, like wth?!
so i did follow, and the next thing i know, i was brought to the amphi theatre, and it was scorching hot. so yeah, i was STILL BLINDFOLDED, & the rest just kept shouting and cheering. asking me to do crazy things like to spin 18 rounds, move left and right.
when i opened up my eyes, i just squint my eyes cos it's DAMN BLOODY hot. and i see flying slippers, how funny. and there's this BIGGGGGG EEEYORE plushie in the middle of the stage. my birthday pressie, with wishes of my mates and even DR. LEE!HAHA.
so the whole day, i just carried my eeeyore around school. and wanted to meet up with lovely to go home that day, but she told me she left very early to meet her sister. and i met up with SUSU! she used my laptop to do her stuff. and we chatted. i told her "i miss her". and she agrees with me. i treasure my friend A LOT k ;)
& just then , when i wished to get to see AFRO, he walked past business sch's corridor and WAVED to me!!! X) i'm so happy for that night.
so yeah. it rained, but still i managed to go home by having a ride from SUSU's uncle van. had a great time ,and i'm thankful. HAHA! it's super fun to have friends like that.
so the next day, i had lessons in the morning. went to school alone . attended OB's tutorial at 11am. and then BEING THE BIRTHDAY GIRL, my arms are VANDALISED with wishes. and i was just busy copying away notes during tutorials. LOL!
so after all that, i had free time. and during the night, i dated my girlfriends out. but unluckily, a number of them cannot make it. so i called my guy friends along as well. cos the more the merrier! i plan to treat, i make my promise. ;)
so we girls went to ITAS for lunch as mensa's closed, we ate design the day before and bizpark is very crowded. so indeed, by the time we reached ITAS, it's DAMN crowded.
so we just walked practically around the WHOLE ITAS to hunt for seats. and we see NO SEATS available. and then when we made our turn back near to the entrance, somebody said she saw AFRO, i looked out but i see no one still. perhaps i missed it.
I then decided to treat the girls drinks, while we all get our food. so when i was busy buying drinks, roo said she needs the ladies, so papaya followed her.
Just then, when she returned not long later, THE BIG SURPRISE JUST CAME.
at the corner of my eye, i see 2 other person. 1 with a big hair, and the other standing by the side.
it's afro, and i think i was super shocked. he just went "hello", and the girls just all went to the other side of the tables n started taking pictures. they all sang me a birthday song, N I JUST WENT MASSIVE BLUSHING.
seriously, my heart was palpitating super fast and i was nervous. didn't know how to say a word, i just went "how was climb yesterday?" like WTH right? i know i know. it's so dumb of me to start a convo like that. and i shook his hand twice. thankful thankful thankful. that's all i can say=)
and then after that, i met up with zat, and we gossiped at the table. as i waited for lovely to turn up, zat saw her eyecandy. LOL, he's just beside us. and then when lovely turns up, she passed me this flower, and she asked me to press to listen. it was a birthday song.HAHA!
ok lovely, i take it you sang me a song. but next time, i want you to sing in a karaoke scene k! promise? =D
haha! so she passed me this BIG present. and lots of her classmate wished me, and i'm thankful! =) after which, i did something super daring. i asked zat's eyecandy's name! like wth, i felt damn high after doing it. because i didn't plan to DO SO. i don't know why i just went up!
me: Hi! may i know your name?
unknown: oh hi, my name's khid! ( SMILES WEIRDLY)
me: ok, thank you! (runs off)
LOL! it's just like that. i know, the people at scene couldnt believe i did that, neither can i. i just did. HAHA! and brenda told me eunice rarely takes pictures. so i wished for a picture with her in it, and she gave me face n took it with me n bren. BREN, THANK ME K!
then i left for home with lovely. went home to prepare for my outing with the clique. there's lovely, cher, sok, cheryl oh, jiamin, eme, jeff, weisheng, jiesheng, heqin, jingfu. we all managed to meet up and headed to the CAFE at smith street. cher led the way ,and going through chinatown just brings out the sense of CNY. can't wait for the day to come! =D
so we went, and we settled down. i thought we would get the bigger room. but only the small room. but we still managed to squeeze in. as we play along, we ordered food. n it's really a fun night. jokes, games, food, complications like spilling of my MANGO SMOOTHIE n the loose power plugs that cause the lights to be easily switched off when touch.haha!
so many funny things happened. after everything, we had a cake ceremony thing. they felt it's really stupid of me to buy a birthday cake. LOL! but like i said, i treat. so yeah! aha. i even had the word "thank you for coming" on the cake. like WOW huh. haha!
i had a great day spending my birthday. now here comes the emotional part.
i'm thankful for everyone who wished me, i'm thankful for those who hopes to turn up but cannot make it. i am thankful for the people who made my birthday so memorable. the many surprised just makes me smile ,and it lasted in my heart. i just cannot stop smiling within myself. i'm that happy. thank you for those who made the effort to make my "wish" come true. and i'm really really thankful for the presents. and of course,
the bunch of people i wish to thank will be my lovely classmates!!! you guys made my day, from the present to THE BIG SURPRISE. and the many laughters you guys brought to me. i'm really thankful. without you guys, 18th birthday wouldnt be that memorable. seriously.
the most one person i wish to thank will be ======= MISS TAN HUI LI.
why? cos she basically had everything planned. from presents, which she REALLY put in LOTS of effort, to the sweet little things she did during the 2 days. it's REALLY REALLY sweet of you to do so. Hence, i wanna say this OUT LOUD: I LOVE YOUUUUUUU TONNESSSSSSSSSS X)
Cos i used to just give out sweets on my birthdays during my secondary school days. and it's that not fun at all. LOL! but still , thinking back showed me how much i've come this far. and that how much i and the people around me have been through.

WELL! i've not bloggeed for CENTURIES.
so this will be the very first post for this LOVELY year 2008. =)
yeah, so as school started, tonnes of project deadlines came rushing in and tonnes of assignments as well. unfortunately, things didn't go my way. and that i did quite badly for my common tests. felt rather disappointed as i've not been putting in much effort, which is NOT ME. i don't know why either but perhaps i've been caught up with work, and school. tend to burn my weekends and not study as i always came home late. plus, when i found out that my tests are like the week after, i didn't have much time to revise.
so yeah, that's such a wrong start.
BUT,
i've decided to put my whole heart into doing well for this final shot which determines me of my promotion to year 2 to retake certain subjects. I don't wanna retake subjects, please! LOL.
so yeah, decided to work once a while, starting from today.
or perhaps, not work at all. i can't seem to cope well. = (
and plus on the day for marketing submission, my LOVELY group 2 WERE rushing to cover up all the loopholes. plus, we just stayed in the lab from 11 plus to 4 plus, just to make sure we have everything covered up. we did our best, if it's not enough, we can't say much. =)
but NO WORRIES GROUP 2 of mine, we shall score in presentation and oral k! it's gonna be a blast to work with you guys ,especially to present all our findings to ALOY. hopefully it's fine, like what he said. =)
however, that's only the bad part of what i'm coping with in my everyday life. and the good part is that school today is so happening! LOL.
firstly, it was jiayi's birthday! and the day of 9th jan, it started off with her carrying a STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE balloon around school that says "i'm turning 19 tmr!" LOL! like wow. she's happy, that's all that matters ; )
so yeah, after that brenda n jes got to give her a surprise! so bren delayed jiayi from following us, brought her around school with a clue that says something. LOL! so everyone gathered at the koi pond, in front of the auditorium and waited for the girl's arrival. and SANG HER a birthday song. Bren gave "birthday" girl her cake,which was suppose to be strawberry cake that is covered with choc, she DISLIKES strawberry btw X)
so yeah, we all camwhorred. and was suppose to carry jiayi when taking the first pic for the day, BUT THE GUYS backstabbed me,carried me instead! like WTF!?!?!?! LOL!
but then in the end, we GIRLS carried jiayi, and FLAGPOLED her at this big pillar. HAHAHA!
and like WOW, i can never imagine what will happen to me during mine. LOL!!!
better not say anything if not it'll come true. =p
so yeah, days went past with more gossips during meetings, chilling and hanging out with my classmates. they're a bunch of lovely people from all walks of life. and i'm thankful, really. because i wouldn't dare think of how my poly life will be like if it's not a lively class. i would have bored to death, and that i might not even wanna attend school. haha, though i have my downs, these people just make my ups so HIGH up, and i'm really thankful =D

But it seemed like you grounded yourself by not going home early. and you somehow disappointed me when you say you won't be able to make it cos you're still out late at such an hour. I don't know, but i know when you say you won't be able to make it, you just made me really sad. I just hope you really can make it because it's something i wanna have it special.
